Presidential elections in Serbia. Vučić declared his victory

Presidential elections are taking place in Serbia. The current head of state, Aleksandar Vucic, takes part in them.

According to the Republican Election Commission (RIC), after processing 44.5% of the ballots, Vučić is in the lead.

And in the elections of deputies to the Assembly (parliament), the Serbian Progressive Party is leading, as follows from the information of the REC.

As for the current President, according to calculations, he gains 63.42% of the votes.

The closest competitor, Zdravko Ponosh, shows the result of 14.59% of the votes, – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

By the way, Aleksandar Vucic has already stated that it was he who won the elections in the first round.

The head of state also announced his intention to continue to adhere to a neutral policy regarding the situation in Ukraine.

In addition, Vucic assured that Belgrade will maintain friendly relations with Moscow.

According to the REC, more than 58% of Serbia’s residents have voted in the elections so far.
