PSDB defends breaking relations with Venezuela

57views

The president of the PSDB, Marconi Perillo, released this Saturday (7) a note in which he defends the breaking of relations with the PSDB.

“Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship has crossed the line once again. Now it has revoked authorization for the Brazilian government to exercise Argentine representation in Venezuela and threatens to invade the Argentine Embassy in Caracas. If this happens, there is only one path for the government of Brazil, a friend of dictatorships, to take: expel Venezuela from Mercosur and break diplomatic relations with the Maduro regime,” he said.

However, he stated that he doubted “the PT government, which supports the Venezuelan dictatorship, has the courage to face its friends”.

The note results from Venezuela’s decision to cancel authorization for the Argentine embassy in Caracas to have custody of Brazil in the country.
