Purge of the SBU: Zelensky signed a number of decrees, the deputy head was also fired

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky continues to purge the ranks of the country’s special services.

In particular, he signed a number of decrees that relieved several employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) from their positions.

The deputy head of the department, Alexander Yakushev, was also fired, – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

In addition, the head of the SBU department in the Sumy region, Eduard Fedorov, and the head of the SBU department in the Zaporozhye region, Boris Bezrukiy, lost their positions.

The head of the department for protecting state secrets and licensing of the SBU, Igor Nosko, and the head of the department of economic support, Alexander Provotorov, were also fired.

According to the Russian news agency, the Ukrainian leader has already appointed Oleg Krasnoshapka to the post of head of the SBU department in the Sumy region.

According to his decision, the post of head of the department for protecting state secrets and licensing of the SBU will be taken by Oleg Khramov.

By the way, earlier the purges of the SBU and the police were announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexei Danilov.
