The Russian army took control of the strategically important village of Verkhnee Vodyanoye, located near Donetsk.
The general public was notified of this via a telegram channel by the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin.
Verkhneye Vodyanoye is under our control. We can now say that in the very next few days we will see the liberation of new settlements, – he said.
It is known that this settlement is located near Donetsk.
According to the military, it is strategically important from the point of view of conducting military operations to liberate the republic.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin informed about the observed positive dynamics of the special operation in Ukraine.
According to him, events within the Northern Military District are developing according to the plan of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
In turn, the country’s defense department, as well as the head of the Wagner PMC, reported the complete liberation of the city of Soledar in the DPR.
