Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin gave an interview for the Russia 24 channel, where he spoke about the transfer of cluster munitions to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the United States.
Pushilin says that the Ukrainian army has previously used cluster munitions against the Russian Armed Forces.
RIA Novosti’s opinion of the acting head of the DPR is that it is better to use preventive measures against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The decision to supply cluster munitions was made by the United States on Friday.
Joe Biden noted that the supply of shells of this type will be carried out due to a shortage of artillery shells from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has already commented on this decision – the Russian department announced that the decision of the White House will contribute to the escalation of the military confrontation.
Pushilin said that earlier the American administration called the use of cluster munitions a war crime, but now this line has been crossed.
He also added that he has no illusions about the actions of the Ukrainian authorities.
