Deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security and Defense, MP from the Servant of the People party Maryana Bezuglaya made a resonant statement.

The politician demanded the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the country’s Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny.

Bezuglaya cites the fact that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not have an action plan for 2024 as the reason why he should leave his post, – portal “HERE NEWS”.

According to the deputy, Zaluzhny was unable to provide the specified plan for the next year – “neither large nor small, neither asymmetrical nor symmetrical.”

She claims that the military has only communicated that it needs to recruit at least 20,000 civilians each month to fill its ranks.

Bezuglaya informed: in the Rada, when planning the budget for 2024, the military leadership was asked how it sees military operations in the future.

They also asked: is it worth investing money in rotation and demobilization, why are new brigades being formed, while it is possible to supplement the existing ones.

The deputy says that the discussion of the topic was non-public, but during the event “tension grew.”

Her vision of the situation is this: since Zaluzhny cannot offer “any idea” for the coming year, he must leave his position.

Bezuglaya emphasized: dissatisfaction with the lack of specific plans by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was recorded last summer, during the start of the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
