Iranian Vice President Mohsen Mansouri confirmed the death of the country’s President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.
On the social network, X Mansouri left the following message: “We belong to Allah and we will return to Him.”

The Vice President’s message is a quote from the Koran. Muslims usually say this when they receive news of the death of a loved one.
Before this, many local media outlets wrote about the death of the Iranian President and a number of high-ranking officials of the republic accompanying him.
In particular, it was reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the governor of the East Azerbaijan province Malek Rahmati, the imam of the city of Tabriz Mohammad Ali Ale Hashem and others were also killed in the helicopter crash.
Earlier, the media reported that the helicopter carrying the Iranian President, Raisi and other passengers, did not survive.
