This visit is considered provocative in China, say representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

It is emphasized that the US politician dealt a “heavy blow” to the “one China” principle, thereby threatening peace in the Taiwan Strait.
The Foreign Ministry drew attention to the fact that sanctions against Pelosi and her relatives are being imposed on the basis of the “relevant legislation” of the country.
