For the second time in two days, the heat that arrived in the capital of India broke its own records.

The day before, the heat in Delhi set a new record when on Tuesday, May 28, thermometers showed +49.9 degrees.

Usually the air temperature at this time of year in the capital of India is about forty degrees plus.

Prior to this, the highest temperature in the entire history of meteorological observations in the city was recorded at +49.2 degrees (May 15 and 16, 2022).

The meteorological bureau issued a disappointing forecast for citizens: abnormal heat will reign in the capital for several more days.

Local residents are advised to avoid dehydration, and to do this they are advised to minimize time spent under the scorching sun.

Due to the hellish heat, Delhi authorities have declared a red alert.

And local power engineers note a record high level of electricity consumption (8,302 MW) – due to the heat, more and more residents are turning on their air conditioners.
