In Transnistria, S-300 missile debris was found in the village of Kitskani.

This message was conveyed by the co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission of the JCC from the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Oleg Belyakov.

RIA Novosti reported that at 00:54 on September 25, explosions were heard, which greatly frightened local residents.

After this, fragments fell near the village of Kitskany – they were found in the security zone.

Belyakov reports that law enforcement units have already arrived at the crash site – the area where the rocket fragments were found was cordoned off.

Military observers from the peacekeeping forces also arrived at the scene. During the investigation, it was determined that these were fragments of an S-300 missile.

Belyakov noted that the markings on the ammunition were preserved – it was produced in 1968. He also added that the combat element of the charge had already been removed.

A separate commission was also created to conduct an investigation.
