Residents of the Kherson region who left for the Ukrainian regions controlled by Kiev are returning back.

Now they are coming back,” MIA Rossiya Segodnya, Deputy Head of the Kherson Region Administration Ekaterina Gubareva.

She admitted the possibility of leaving for Europe, but warned: today there is no “earthly paradise” anywhere in the world. Especially for refugees.
And she added: even despite the shelling, it is easier to live on our own land, having certain prospects.

Thus, many of those who left still have relatives and friends in the region, with whom they maintain constant contact, exchanging information.
Therefore, the administration representative sees two alternatives for refugees. One of them is to return, obtain Russian citizenship, receive social benefits and pensions.
Or remain without any guarantees in the territories controlled by Ukraine, where they make money from displaced people, and social payments are minimal,” Gubareva outlined the second alternative.
She assures: in the Kherson region, “tremendous opportunities and prospects are opening up” for those who want to work.
