Even with , the Federal Police continues to survey profiles that used the platform during the blockade period to commit – in theory – crimes.

All information about “extreme cases” of network use is forwarded to the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

At least nine names appear on this list. One of them is that of the former candidate for mayor of São Paulo, . The businessman maintained publications considered “atypical” during the X blockade. Among them, the publication of a false medical report against , on the eve of the election.

The PF also sent the name of Senator Marcos do Val (Podemos), who allegedly incited the commission of crimes against federal police officers and, specifically, a delegate who conducts inquiries reported by Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

The parliamentarian published a photo of the delegate, calling him Moraes’ “foreman”. The caption had the addition: “wanted”.

The daughter of journalist Oswaldo Eustáquio shared an image of an identification document belonging to the same delegate, with personal data.

Among other names listed are blogger Ed Raposo and journalist Sandra Eustáquio, Oswaldo’s wife.

According to investigators, the PF is evaluating the best way to forward new monitoring.

X blocking history

  • 1. The PF requested search and seizure, arrest and blocking of accounts of those investigated who used social networks to incite crimes against police officers investigating undemocratic acts;
  • 2. Minister Alexandre de Moraes approved some arrests, searches and blocking of accounts;
  • 3. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok complied with the order in less than two hours and blocked the accounts of users who were using that communication channel to commit crimes. OX did not answer;
  • 4. Moraes arbitrated fines per day of non-compliance. Without a response, he ordered the blocking of X throughout the country;
  • 5. Some profiles started to circumvent the court decision, using VPNs, for example, to use the social network. Moraes, then, orders the PF to check “extreme” cases of use to impose fines;
  • 6. OX complied with the court order, deleted the accounts and paid the fines due, receiving authorization to return to operate in Brazil.
