Return of X: Find out which profiles the platform had to block to be able to work again in Brazil
The lawyers representing the company informed the Federal Supreme Court (STF) that they complied with all orders to block accounts on the platform determined by Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
This is one of the conditions imposed by Moraes for the platform, suspended since the end of August, to be reestablished in the country.
Furthermore, the company needed to prove the appointment of a legal representative. Now, the minister will analyze the documents presented by the defense.
In a petition sent to the Supreme Court, the lawyers stated that they blocked the nine accounts that were mentioned in Moraes’ decision. The profiles are managed by people investigated for publications with anti-democratic messages.

- Marcos do Val – senator for Podemos (ES).
- ME – 16 year old young man. She is the daughter of one of those investigated.
- Paola da Silva – wife of former deputy Daniel Silveira, arrested in 2021 after making statements defending AI-5 (Institutional Act nº 5) and attacks on the STF.
- Sérgio Fischer – There is not much public information about Fischer, but, according to the text, he is one of the profiles blocked in Minister Moraes’ determination, possibly related to investigations into publications with anti-democratic messages.
- Josias Pereira Lima – pastor and digital influencer.
- Ed Raposo – digital influencer.
- Cláudio Luz – engineer and digital influencer.
- Paulo Figueiredo – political commentator and grandson of the former president of Brazil João Figueiredo, who governed during the military dictatorship.
- Paulo Figueiredo – had a second account.
Blocked profiles
Among the blocked accounts is that of the senator (Podemos-ES). He is being investigated in an investigation that investigates “the possible commission of crimes of obstructing investigations of a criminal organization and inciting crime”.
In this investigation, which is being conducted under secrecy, the PF investigates attacks on the institution’s delegates and the STF. According to investigators, the senator and some bloggers, such as Allan dos Santos and Oswaldo Eustáquio, published personal and private information regarding a PF delegate, including exposing the server’s family.
Those investigated are also accused of carrying out attacks on the STF and Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
Another profile blocked after Moraes’ determination is that of a 16-year-old girl, daughter of an investigator. He is the target of an arrest warrant issued by Moraes, who accuses him of disseminating false information, but he is outside Brazil.
Moraes also ordered the blocking of two profiles of blogger Paulo Figueiredo and the profile of Paola da Silva, wife of former deputy Daniel Silveira, arrested in 2021 after defending Institutional Act nº 5 (AI-5).
According to X’s defense, the profiles of Sérgio Fischer, pastor Josias Pereira Lima, influencer Ed Raposo and engineer Cláudio Luz were also blocked.
