It is worth emphasizing that the Russian side has repeatedly warned the West about the consequences of military assistance to Ukraine.
Thus, the head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, emphasized: any cargo that represents a weapon for Kyiv is a legitimate target for Russia.
The very fact of the West supplying weapons to the Ukrainian side was called “playing with fire” by the Russian department.
Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov also warned the West about the possible dangerous consequences of such assistance to Kyiv.
