The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Alexey Reznikov, said that the main events of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive are still ahead.

The head of the Ukrainian department did not explain what specific actions would be taken by the Ukrainian army.

“When these events happen, you will see everything for yourself, and everyone will see it.”– RIA Novosti quotes Reznikov.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine noted that the appearance of the Ukrainian military near some settlements on the line of combat contact is not a sign of a full-fledged counter-offensive.

Reznikov says that current events can be called a “preview” of a larger offensive.

The publication notes that the Ukrainian military trained in the West has not yet been involved in the counter-offensive.

These military reserves, equipped with Western military equipment, including modern tanks, are still preparing to carry out combat missions.

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Ukrainian army had lost nearly three hundred tanks and 780 armored vehicles since launching its recent offensive.
