Rogov named the day of completion of the IAEA mission at the Zaporozhye NPP

On Tuesday, September 6, the IAEA mission at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant will end.

A member of the main council of the military-civil administration of the region, Vladimir Rogov, spoke about this.

As for the further plans of the agency delegation, the official knows nothing about them.

The delegation is still working on September 5, after which its mission ends, and they leave on September 6, –Rogova MIA “Russia Today”.

According to him, the distinguished guests at the facility were provided with “every assistance.”

“We are interested in an objective and balanced assessment of the situation at the nuclear power plant,” added the representative of the local authorities.

According to Rogov, there are currently 13 people from the IAEA delegation on the territory of the nuclear power plant.

There is still no clear understanding of whether IAEA representatives will remain at the nuclear plant on a permanent basis,” he noted.

Let us remind you that the IAEA mission, headed by the agency’s Director General Rafael Grossi, arrived at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant last week.

Grossi said the delegation will remain at the site as long as necessary to complete its tasks.

According to him, on September 6 he will inform the UN Security Council about his stay at the nuclear power plant.
