Rogov wants to introduce a regime of silence around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant

0views

A member of the main council of the Zaporozhye regional administration, Vladimir Rogov, calls for the introduction of a silence regime around the local nuclear power plant.

The official made this recommendation to the UN leadership and the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell.

Rogov does not advise the recipients of his message to declare demilitarization, but advises them to declare a regime of silence.

And also to provide not just sanctions for its violation, but the most severe sanctions for shelling nuclear power plants, – demands of a civil servant of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

According to the author of the initiatives, if they are implemented, “the heads of Ukrainian nationalists” may sober up.

He recalled that these same nationalists are engaged in blackmail, and by shelling nuclear power plants, they put the entire planet at risk of a nuclear disaster.

Last week, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres proposed agreeing on technical issues to establish a safe perimeter around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

He called for an immediate cessation of all hostilities near the nuclear power plant and the removal of the military and their equipment from there.

Josep Borrell supported Guterres’ idea, but Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, did not agree.

The latter believes that with such a development of events, the nuclear power plant will become vulnerable and Kyiv will be able to use it for a “monstrous provocation.”
