Rogov warns: the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for the second stage of the counteroffensive
The Ukrainian army is actively preparing for the second stage of a large-scale counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye region.
The general public was warned about this by Vladimir Rogov, a representative of the administration of that part of the region that is now under Russian control.
At the same time, the official claims that a new wave of counter-offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces could start any day now, “at any moment.”
Now they are trying to confuse our intelligence, so along the entire line of contact on the Zaporozhye front they are constantly maneuvering and transferring troops, – civil servant of MIA “Russia Today”.
In his opinion, this is how the enemy is now acting, wanting to hide the places where his main forces are now located.
Rogov assumes that the Ukrainian military can deliver the main blow to achieve a breakthrough on any front sector – from the Vasilyevsky direction to the Vremevsky salient.
He says that over the past month, “the maximum amount of reconnaissance in force, offensive options, breakthroughs, studying our reaction and interaction of units” has been carried out.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly fire at Russian rear areas in the hope of hitting infrastructure facilities.
Rogov includes bridges, headquarters units, warehouses with equipment and shells, airfields, and transport hubs as such.
