The Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China opposed one of the American documents in the United Nations Security Council.

We are talking about a veto on the draft resolution of the United States of America on the Gaza Strip.

The reason for this decision by Moscow and Beijing is dissatisfaction with the fact that the document does not contain a demand for a ceasefire in Palestine.

The draft resolution only mentioned the “urgent need” for a ceasefire.

Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky described the document as “American deceit.”

According to him, the document contained past “distortions” and unacceptable one-sided “condemns”, – reports MIA “”.

It is emphasized that the document drawn up by Washington contains a condemnation of Hamas, but there is no indication of Tel Aviv’s guilt in the fact that there are victims among the Palestinian civilian population.

Who voted against the American draft resolution

This was done by the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China and Algeria.

There is one country that abstained. This is Guyana.

The remaining 11 members of the UN Security Council supported the document.

Previously, the head of the Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, spoke to the West.
