It became known that over 8 months of this year, the Russian Federation supplied COVID-19 vaccines worth $713.7 million to partner countries.

However, most of the drugs were sold last summer. Since the beginning of the year, monthly deliveries have exceeded $100 million.

The supply of the drug outside the Russian Federation began in January.

Between January and May, 159 tons of vaccines were sold worth 303.6 million, RBC reports, citing data from the Russian Federal Customs Service.

At the end of the summer, exports of the anti-Covid drug exceeded $700 million.

It is worth noting that it was during the 3 summer months that more vaccines were sold than during the previous 5 months.

Between June and August, 203.6 tons of the drug were shipped abroad, worth almost $410 million.

The peak of shipments occurred in August – 105.8 tons of vaccines worth $123.8 million.

In total, since the beginning of the year, partner countries have received 362.5 tons of vaccine from Russia for a total cost of 713.7 million.

It is known that the development of Russian scientists from non-CIS countries was most interested in Argentina, Kazakhstan, India, the UAE and Mexico.

This group of countries accounted for almost 60% of total exports.

To date, the Russian Sputnik V vaccine has been approved in 70 countries.
