Russian Ministry of Defense: Baku and Karabakh agreed to stop hostilities

The administrations of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh agreed on a complete ceasefire and military operations.

This message was transmitted by the Russian Ministry of Defense through the official Telegram channel.

Through the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping corps, an agreement on the cessation of hostilities was signed between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh.

The decisions taken will be implemented with the help of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan announced the suspension of anti-terrorist operations on the territory of Karabakh from 13:00 on September 20.

The Baku administration reports that in order to reach an agreement, many conditions must be met, including the abandonment of positions by illegal armed groups located on the territory of Karabakh.

The Azerbaijani authorities intend to meet with the Armenians of Karabakh regarding re-integration, which will take place on September 21 in Yevlakh.

Yerevan is aware of the readiness of the Armenian population of Karabakh for negotiations with Baku.
