Russian Ministry of Defense: more than 100 military and foreign mercenaries were destroyed near Zhitomir
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a missile attack on a mercenary training center located on the territory of Ukraine.
As a result, more than 100 military and foreign mercenaries were killed in one of the centers located near Zhitomir.
The attack on the training center of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces near Zhitomir was carried out by the Russian Aerospace Forces, reports MIA “” with reference to a message from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The military had information that foreign mercenaries were based in this area.
High-precision air-launched missiles struck the training center for special operations forces of the Ukrainian armed forces, where foreign mercenaries who arrived in Ukraine were based, near the village of Ovruch, Zhytomyr region, said Major General Igor Konashenkov.
The statement also noted that on March 19 and 20, hypersonic Kinzhal missiles and Caliber cruise missiles destroyed a large fuel base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the Nikolaev region.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation emphasizes that attacks are carried out only on military infrastructure, as well as Ukrainian troops.
