Sabotage. Sweden completes investigation into leaks at Nord Stream

The Swedish Security Service has completed its investigation into the incident involving leaks at Nord Stream.

Experts found out that explosions occurred near gas pipelines.

MIA Rossiya Segodnya reported this with reference to the department’s website, noting that the results of the investigation confirm the version of sabotage.

In other words, the cause of leaks on these gas mains was acts of sabotage.

The investigation increased suspicions of blatant sabotage. An investigation at the scene showed that there were explosions near Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, the news agency quoted the report as saying.

Let us remind you that a gas leak on the mentioned pipelines was detected on September 26. And simultaneously in four places.

According to a statement by representatives of Nord Stream AG, the accident is unprecedented, so it is not possible to estimate the repair time.

German and Danish authorities issued a statement raising the possibility that the leak could have been caused by sabotage.

The Kremlin called the incident an act of international terrorism.
