Recently it became known about the refusal of another country to participate in the Swiss summit on the situation in Ukraine.
Saudi Arabia did not want to do this, as reported by the German news agency DPA, citing diplomatic sources in the kingdom.
Like China earlier, Riyadh cited the absence of Russia at the event as the reason.
The reason for the government’s decision in Riyadh is that Russia will not take part in the summit, which will be held on June 15-16– DPA MIA “Russia Today”.
It is also reported that the planned visit to Saudi Arabia by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may be postponed.
It is assumed that the new date will be set one of the days after the summit in Switzerland.
However, it is worth noting that Saudi Arabia has not yet officially announced its refusal to participate in the said summit.
