0views

The German Chancellor complained about the far from best times that his country’s economy is currently experiencing.

He cited dependence on exports as one of the key reasons for this.

In general, the politician described the current growth of the domestic economy as “unsatisfactory.”

Current economic growth is unsatisfactory, – Mr. Scholz news agency MIA “Russia Today”.

At the same time, the German leader noted: despite this bleak situation, he personally does not want Berlin to increase its national debt.

I’m not sure if the EU really wants this,” he said.

Scholz noted that in recent years Germany has already increased its national debt by hundreds of billions of euros.

Such actions, he said, were dictated by the desire to eliminate the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and mitigate the consequences of the sanctions imposed against Russia, which provoked a rise in prices for energy resources.
