3views

German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz announced a consensus with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the issue of abandoning strikes against Russia.

According to the German Chancellor, an agreement has been reached with Zelensky that Western weapons will not be used to strike Russia.

Scholz voiced this information in an interview with a German publication.

What agreement has been reached?

When asked if there was an agreement with the Ukrainian president that Western weapons would only be used in Ukraine and would not be used for attacks on Russian territory, Scholz answered in the affirmative.

There is a consensus on this issue, – said the head of the German government.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that weapons supplied by Western countries should not strike Russia. According to Macron, supplies of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine should not lead to escalation.

The day before, Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned that the strikes on Russia would be followed by retaliatory strikes, which would “set the entire Ukraine remaining under the rule of Kyiv on fire.”
