German Chancellor Olaf Scholz once again publicly stated his country’s readiness to support Ukraine as long as necessary.
At the same time, he noted that he was surprised by the ongoing disputes in German society regarding the transfer of Taurus missiles to Kyiv.

The politician recalled: Berlin has already transferred or planned to transfer military aid worth 28 billion euros to Ukraine.
He called this amount “substantially larger” than the financial injections in support of Kyiv that are provided by other European states.
And then such debates begin. “I think this is largely due to the fact that discussions about security and foreign policy in Germany are conducted not in essence, but as if with some flags that are raised and lowered,” the chancellor shared his opinion.
Then he added that “people are probably afraid of ill-considered political demands,” while Scholz himself is “proud” that such calls do not impress him.
Previously, Pistorius discovered up to 6 billion euros in the Bundeswehr budget.
