Scholz’s statement

The head of the German government once again called on Russia to withdraw troops from Ukraine.

According to the German Chancellor, Ukraine has every right to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and democracy.

We support Ukraine in this – Scholz said.

He stressed that “fictitious referendums” in Donbass, which are inconsistent with international law and “the understanding reached by the world community,” will not be recognized.

Earlier it was reported that on September 23-27, referendums on joining Russia would be held in the DPR and LPR, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
