57views

Recently it became known that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had a falling out with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The authoritative publication Politico calls the reason for this very deep differences of opinion between the heads of state regarding Ukraine.

To be more specific: disagreements have arisen on the topic of providing military assistance to Kyiv, and they are so serious that they are developing into an open conflict.

As the Russian news agency TASS has read the newspaper’s publication, Scholz is extremely dissatisfied with France’s lag behind Germany in financing assistance to Ukraine.

At the same time, they believe in Berlin, Paris claims the opposite in Macron’s “strong statements.”

According to the Kiel Institute of World Economics (Germany), France provided military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of 640 million euros.

And Berlin has already sent or promised to allocate 17.7 billion euros for such assistance.

In France, officials say they are giving Ukraine the weapons it really needs.

Earlier, China responded to Macron’s statement about sending troops to Ukraine.
