On August 21, the German Chancellor personally spoke with his compatriots as part of an open day, reports.
Citizens wishing to ask questions to the head of government gathered in the garden on the territory of the Chancellor’s office.
A girl present at the meeting asked Scholz how often he showered, recalling that the government gives citizens recommendations on how often they should do so. The question caused laughter from those gathered.

What recommendations does the German government give?
Let us recall that earlier the head of the German Ministry of Economy, Robert Habeck, called for the use of special economical shower heads.
The minister also said that he had significantly reduced the time he took to take a shower in order to save money.
And the head of the government of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, called on people to wipe themselves with a damp cloth instead of a shower in order to save money and heat only one room in their home.
