The German Chancellor made a statement about the need to expand the European Union to include Ukraine, Moldova and the Western Balkans.
For a longer term, he postponed the issue of Georgia joining the commonwealth.
The German leader announced such an initiative during his speech at the University of Prague.
I support the expansion of the European Union and the inclusion of the states of the Western Balkans, Ukraine and Moldova, and in the future – Georgia, – policy of MIA “Russia Today”.
By the way, at the same event, he told those present that Berlin intends to supply Ukraine with the most modern weapons.
According to Scholz, Kyiv may receive air defense systems from Germany in the coming weeks and months.
Also, according to the chancellor, the Ukrainian side can count on reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles and radar systems.
