In France, a guy with a knife attacked a school and killed a teacher.

What is known so far
The tragedy occurred around 11:00 at the Gambetta Lyceum in Arras (Pas-de-Calais department).
A young man attacked a school with a knife and killed a literature teacher.
Another teacher and a security guard were seriously injured. Doctors assess the guard’s condition as critical. The students were not injured.
According to the head of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gerald Darmanin, the attacker was detained. He turned out to be a 20-year-old native of Chechnya.
According to the BFMTV channel, he is on the list of persons posing a threat to state security.
The TV channel’s police source said that the attacker shouted “Allahu Akbar!” during the attack.
He is believed to be a former student of the school, – the channel said in a statement.
The French National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation.
The country’s President Emmanuel Macron and Education Minister Gabriel Attal went to the scene. The head of government, Elisabeth Bourne, interrupted her trip to Orleans and returns to Paris.
