59views

In the United States, another informant in the current case of defects in the products of the aircraft manufacturer Boeing has suddenly died.

In particular, he transmitted information regarding problems with the 737 MAX aircraft.

About the death of the second informant, the TASS agency cited the Seattle Times newspaper.

Infection?

According to her data, we are talking about the death of a former auditor of the quality department of one of Boeing’s suppliers, Spirit Aerosystems.

Joshua Dean died on April 30 after an “unexpected, rapid-onset infection,” the article said.

It draws attention to the fact that the deceased led a healthy lifestyle, but about half a month ago he was hospitalized due to breathing problems.

Doctors diagnosed the patient with staphylococcal pneumonia. Despite the help he received, Dean’s condition quickly deteriorated.

What is known about the auditor

The American publication also indicates that the deceased was fired from Spirit AeroSystems last year.

And a year before, it was he who discovered that the mechanics were violating the technology for drilling holes in the pressure frame, and reported this to his superiors.

Management did not pay attention to the auditor’s report. However, it noted that during the same inspection, Dean had missed another defect, which became the reason for his dismissal.

The former auditor later informed the US Federal Aviation Administration of the violations.

Barnett’s death

Before that, in March, another whistleblower about Boeing defects, John Barnett, died.

According to the findings of the forensic examination, he committed suicide. This person also testified about the problems at Boeing.

The newspaper writes that the police are still investigating the causes of his death.

Earlier, an engineer was found in the United States who reported problems with the Boeing assembly.
