Sensation in the world of science: remains of a record-breaking prehistoric snake discovered in India

Recently, paleontologists discovered the remains of a snake. And this find greatly interested scientists.

It is possible that the length of the creature was approximately 15 meters.

If this is true, then we are talking about the largest snake of the Eocene era. And perhaps even about the largest snake in the entire history of the planet.

The location where the remains were discovered was the state of Gujarat in western India.

Details of the unusual find

The remains of a representative of the Reptile class were found in the Panadjaro lignite mine.

Experts discovered many large vertebrae that apparently belonged to a huge snake.

The remains were found and studied by employees of the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee.

The creature whose remains are in question was named Vasuki indicus.

After analyzing the vertebrae, paleontologists suggested that the length of the snake could be 15 meters. And this is a record figure.
