A terrorist attack using firearms occurred in the center of the Israeli capital.
As a result, two people were killed and four more citizens were injured. According to the media, they were seriously injured.
The incident happened on the evening of April 7 in the center of Tel Aviv, TASS citing Kan radio station.
According to the city’s mayor, “one or more terrorists” were involved in the attack.
As a result of the aggression with the use of firearms, at least six citizens were seriously injured, the city mayor said.
Two of them died from their wounds in the Ichilov hospital,” he added.
Four other victims were hospitalized; doctors assess their condition as serious.
The mayor noted that security services are currently looking for the criminals. He urged residents not to leave their homes.
A large number of police and military special forces were present at the scene of the incident.
Let us recall that at the end of March, a series of similar attacks were carried out in several cities in Israel, including with the use of firearms.
In total, 11 people became victims of these attacks.
