Sky News: More than 30 British government employees have resigned in less than 24 hours

The string of resignations in the UK government is gaining momentum.

In less than 24 hours, 35 British cabinet ministers resigned.

This was reported on July 6 on Sky News.

Resignations in the British government

A series of resignations in the UK government began the day before with the resignation of finance and health ministers Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid from their posts.

Following this, several more ministers, deputy ministers, parliamentary deputy ministers and more than 10 parliamentary secretaries to ministers resigned.

The reason for the mass resignation of Cabinet employees was another scandal with the head of government, Boris Johnson.

Some resigning ministers have called on Johnson to follow suit.
