What Fico said about sending troops to Ukraine

According to the Prime Minister of Slovakia, a group of EU and NATO countries is considering sending military personnel to Ukraine on the basis of bilateral agreements.

Fico stressed that Slovakia would under no circumstances send its military personnel to Ukraine.

He noted that Slovakia cannot prevent other countries from concluding bilateral agreements with Ukraine with the possibility of sending military personnel.

But we say clearly that the goal expected from this will not be achieved, – said the head of the Slovak government, warning that sending the military to Ukraine would lead to a huge escalation.

The Slovak Prime Minister added that the Western strategy in Ukraine is not working, and the topics that will be discussed in Paris give chills.

The day before, he said that he would not allow Slovak military personnel to be sent to Ukraine, even if it would cost him the prime minister’s chair.

Earlier, there were 12 CIA spy bases operating in Ukraine near the border with Russia.
