Some residents of Kyiv may be relocated to the suburbs. This option is provided in case the power supply situation worsens.
The mayor of the city, Vitaliy Klitschko, warned residents of the Ukrainian capital about this.
By the way, earlier the mayor also made a similar statement, noting the rather high probability of a partial evacuation of Kyiv.
And recently he called on citizens to be prepared for different scenarios, including negative ones.
Each of us has an algorithm of actions even in the event of evacuation. I do not exclude the worst scenario – the head of the city administration of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
At the same time, Klitschko assumes that things will not come to a complete evacuation – only a partial evacuation is possible, which, according to him, cannot be called an evacuation.
This is a temporary move of certain categories of people to the suburbs, to where there may be services,” the mayor said.
He added that there are no plans to resettle Kiev residents to other regions or export them abroad.
Klitschko also recommended that residents of the capital stock up on technical and drinking water, food that can be prepared and consumed without electricity, and warm clothing.
In addition, he advised keeping laptops and power banks charged, as well as downloading offline maps to smartphones.
In case of a bad scenario, it would be good if everyone had the opportunity to either go to their home in the suburbs, where there is water, a stove, or go to their friends, the mayor noted.
