Sooner or later, NATO will send its troops into Ukraine – Politico

194views

NATO began to talk louder and more often that “sooner or later” the Alliance would send its troops into Ukraine.

A certain high-ranking official from one of the countries of the military-political bloc reported this to the well-known newspaper Politico.

Before this, another authoritative newspaper, the American The New York Times, wrote that against the backdrop of the advance of the Russian army, Kyiv asked NATO to help train soldiers in areas close to the front line.

And the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, Charles Brown, called the deployment of NATO instructors in Ukraine inevitable.

At the same time, MIA Rossiya Segodnya drew attention to materials from Western media, according to which the North Atlantic Alliance does not yet intend to send its troops to Ukrainian lands.

But this is only for now, since, as Politico’s interlocutor says, NATO believes that “sooner or later” it will have to take such a step – “at least – for training and support.”

Let us remind you: not so long ago, French President Emmanuel Macron said that he admits the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine.

According to him, the event could happen if Russia breaks through the front line and Ukraine officially asks for help.

Previously, the Polish general West “at any cost” to stop the conflict in Ukraine.
