STJ suffers hacker attack, but denies damage to the system

The Superior Court of Justice (STJ) reported this Sunday (8) that it suffered a hacker attack last Friday (6). Called “cyber criminal activity” by the agency, the action would have the objective of paralyzing systems.

The advisory said, in a statement, that control was fully resumed “in a matter of a few minutes” and digital services returned to functioning normally. Also according to the agency, the “fact did not cause any harm to users”.

Information about the origin, authorship and investigation into the attack has not yet been released.

“The Superior Court of Justice informs that this Friday (6), it was the target of cyber criminal activity and suffered an attempt to shut down its systems. In a matter of a few minutes, control was fully resumed, ensuring the functioning of digital services. This did not cause any harm to users.”
