NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg once again spoke about the likelihood of sending Alliance troops to Ukraine.
He raised the topic while answering a question from a journalist who inquired about the possibility of France sending its military instructors to Ukrainian lands.
According to Stoltenberg, NATO does not plan to station its military personnel in Ukraine.
But then he made an important amendment: he said that members of the military-political bloc have the right to provide Kyiv with “multilateral support.”
The official recalled that Ukraine, in accordance with international law, has the right to self-defense – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
According to the head of NATO, allies are providing assistance to Kyiv in various ways.
However, NATO has no plans to deploy forces in Ukraine, Stoltenberg said.
And he added: the Alliance is now working on the issue of ensuring long-term stable support for Ukraine with the necessary funding.
Earlier, Pistorius announced that Germany was preparing for war with Russia.
