The Russian Aerospace Forces and the Chinese Air Force conducted joint air patrols in the Asia-Pacific region.

How the patrol was carried out
Strategic bombers Hun-6k of the Chinese Air Force and strategic missile carriers Tu-95ms of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted air patrols over the East China and Sea of Japan.
Fighter escort was provided by Russian Su-30cm.
At certain stages of the patrol route, Russian missile carriers accompanied F-15 aircraft of the Japanese Air Force and F-2 aircraft of the Republic of Korea Air Force.
The flight duration of the Russian missile carriers was about 13 hours.
The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized that the aircraft of both countries operated in strict accordance with international law, and there were no violations of the airspace of other countries.
The department also noted that the patrols were carried out as part of the military cooperation plan for the current year and were not directed against third countries.
