Deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov made further statements.
One of them concerns the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He says: the more they shell the region, the more local residents demand a referendum on joining Russia.
The second statement refers to the President of Ukraine: according to Stremousov, the locals hate Zelensky.
People hate Zelensky and this regime, – official of MIA “Russia Today”.
He further said that with the increasing intensity of shelling in the region, the desire of citizens to hold a plebiscite increases.
There are even more supporters of the region becoming a subject of the Russian Federation,” the civil servant outlined the mood in the region.
And he called the statements of the Ukrainian authorities about returning the Kherson region under their control “meaningless emotions and euphoria,” because, according to him, the point of no return has been passed.
