Deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov made another statement.
In it, the official warned the Armed Forces of Ukraine, telling them how attempts to cross the Dnieper in the region could turn out for them.
Now for them, crossing the Dnieper is suicide, – representative of local authorities of MIA “Russia Today”.
Mr. Stremousov justified his warning by the fact that at present, according to him, a reliable defensive line has been built in the region.
Earlier, he notified the general public that the enemy might try to break through the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, flood the surrounding lands and begin to cross the Dnieper.
Let us remind you that a Russian special military operation has been ongoing in Ukraine for more than seven and a half months.
On the day it began – February 24 – Vladimir Putin said that Moscow took such a step in response to the request of the heads of the DPR and LPR for military assistance.
And on September 30, he signed agreements with the heads of these republics, as well as with the leaders of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions on the admission of the regions to Russia (the corresponding referendums were held there the day before).
A few days later, the Russian leader signed federal laws ratifying the entry of these regions into Russia.
