The sociological group “Rating” conducted a survey regarding the level of trust of Ukrainians in the country’s president and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Based on its results, it was discovered that now the number (of those surveyed) of those who trust Valery Zaluzhny more exceeds the number of those who trust Vladimir Zelensky more.
The Russian TASS agency reported this with reference to Ukrainian media, which in turn refer to the results of the study.
The results of the survey are as follows: 63% of respondents “entirely trust” Zaluzhny, and only 39% trust Zelensky.
The number of those who “rather trust” Zaluzhny is 19%, and Zelensky is 33%.
In general, according to the study, Ukrainians’ trust in Zaluzhny is 82%, while Zelensky’s result is 72%.
It is noted that the level of trust of the Ukrainian population in their leader began to decline since July of this year.
As follows from the survey, if presidential elections were held in the country, neither Zaluzhny nor Zelensky would have won in the first round.
The study showed that 47.4% of respondents could vote for the current head of state, and 30.7% for the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the second round, Zelensky could receive 42% of the votes, and Zaluzhny – exactly forty percent.
It is reported that the survey was conducted between November 3 and November 7 this year. It involved 2,000 adult respondents.
