Washington fears that delaying the Israeli operation in Gaza will negatively affect the election ratings of US President Joseph Biden.

According to SVR, the United States behind closed doors is encouraging the Israeli leadership to speed up the operation in Gaza so that its delay does not negatively affect Biden’s election positions.
The department noted that Washington is aware that the solution to the task of destroying the Palestinian Hamas movement could lead to the death of a significant number of civilians, and considers this completely acceptable.
The SVR also reported that the Biden administration, together with the leaders of Great Britain and Germany, intends to obstruct initiatives aimed at a ceasefire in Gaza.
