The Swedish Liberal Party advocated the permanent placement of NATO bases in the country after joining the alliance.

What Person said about the location of NATO bases in Sweden
The politician recalled that Sweden and NATO have been partners since the 90s.
According to Person, Sweden needs permanent NATO bases to strengthen its security.
In a situation where the outside world could pose a very serious threat to Sweden, said leader of the Swedish Liberal Party on air.
He added that NATO forces must remain present in the country in peacetime because “freedom must be defended.”
Let us recall that in May last year, Sweden and Finland submitted applications to join NATO.
On April 4, Finland became a member of the alliance. Sweden’s application has still not been approved by Türkiye and Hungary.
