Swiss police used special equipment to disperse the rally of Covid dissidents

0views

Participants in the protest movement opposing the introduction of so-called “Covid passports” in Switzerland were dispersed by the police.

It is reported that on the night of September 22-23, law enforcement officers used rubber bullets, tear gas and water cannons against demonstrators.

The protest began on the night of September 22 to 23.

The reason for mass discontent among citizens was the decision of the country’s government to introduce mandatory certificates confirming vaccination.

An alternative option is a past illness or a negative test result for coronavirus.

According to the authorities, the Covid passport will be a kind of pass to public places.

But part of society did not agree to live by the new rules and with the demand for “freedom!” took to the streets.

In response to the actions of Covid dissidents, the police in the city of Bern used rubber bullets, water cannons and tear gas against the protesters, and the protesters responded by throwing bottles at law enforcement officers.

By the morning of September 23, it was decided to put the police on high alert. They also decided to cordon off the parliament building just in case.

Similar demonstrations took place in Australia and earlier in France.
