Recently it became known about an attack on the United States Embassy in Lebanon.
According to Western media, a Syrian citizen attacked the diplomatic mission – he opened fire with a rifle.
According to the Al Hadath TV channel, the attacker is associated with the terrorist organization “Islamic State”* (ISIS*), banned in Russia.
His affiliation with this organization, according to the TV channel, can be evidenced by the symbols of ISIS militants found on the rifle (from which the fire was fired).
In turn, the TASS agency reported that local military personnel wounded the criminal – he is currently in the hospital under guard.
Some publications, citing their sources, write that the terrorist could not have acted alone.
The military has cordoned off the territory of the embassy in Aquar (a suburb of Beirut, the capital of the country) – they are looking for a potential accomplice or accomplices of the criminal.
Previously, European farmers struck again along the Spanish-French border.
