What Bauer said about weapons for Ukraine

The head of the NATO military committee noted that the alliance countries increased funding for the military sector seven years before the start of the Ukrainian conflict, but production capacity did not increase.

According to Bauer, NATO continues to transfer weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, but the warehouses are not full.

We started deliveries from half-empty warehouses in Europe. Now the “bottom of the barrel” is already visible, – stated the admiral.

Bauer called for an increase in weapons production, emphasizing the need to modernize the economies of Western countries that were not ready for military supplies.

Let us remind you that last week the US Congress approved a temporary budget bill without including assistance to Ukraine. In addition, the Lend-Lease law for the Ukrainian Armed Forces expired last Saturday.
